Tell us your most favorite officer, or more if you have them.
My favorite's Zhao Yun, because of his high sense of skill and knowledge. It takes a true hero to fight like him.

Heres my top 5
5. Ma Chao. Most fierce warrior of his time I believe. went toe-to-toe with Zhang Fei for a whole day and night. Wounded Cao Cao's most fierce general Xu Zhu and almost killed Cao Cao himself. His stand at Tong Gate and the Wei River is famous. Never, EVER lost a duel. He either tied, his army called him back or he won (which most of the time happened).
4. Yuan Shao. I am perfectly fine with taking up discussions about why I like him. I think that the loss of Guan Du wasn't entirely his fault. Chun Yuqiong was drunk on duty when guarding the supplies. Feng Ji, Xu You, Guo Tu and Tian Feng all hated each other and everyone proposed different plans. By my memory, I'm pretty sure Feng Ji got Tiang Feng locked up by spreading rumours about him, when Tian Feng was the smartest out of all of them......Yuan Shao was a great leader and just unfortunately fought Cao Cao at the wrong time.......Also, I contemplate on what would have happened if Cao Cao didn't have Guan Yu and Wen Chou and Yan Liang were alive in the battle.......
3. Zhang Ren. Gotta love this guy. Cause the death of Pang Tong. One of the most famous officers under Liu Zhang. he was well versed in all battle manners. And when he was captured, he showed unwavering loyalty.....saying "Can a loyal servant have two masters?"
2. Xiahou Yuan. Man I love this kid. He actually obliterated any chance that the army of Ma Chao had of winning against Cao Cao. He killed (from my vague knowledge) two of the Eight Riders. Alot of people give him grief for what happened at Ding Jun but his leadership abilities make up for it in my opinion.
1......Ahhh easily Hao Zhao. Held off Zhuge Liang's massive army of 300000 with his own small 3000 for 20 days. Out played him on three occasions. Actually made Zhuge Liang RETREAT....Zhuge Liang NEVER retreats unless it's part of a ploy. He caused the great Kongming to weep because he couldn't take ChenCang. As soon as Hao Zhao died of illness, the city fell. Showing that because Hao Zhao was there, the city remained. Truly a master of defensive warfare.

The novel makes you like Liu Bei. Makes him look like the hero.
You'll also notice how much they praise Guan Yu in there. Where as they give no acknowledgment to someone such as Zhang Liao.
